Coolkenno History

A great picture of Michael Noctor ploughing the land at Munny Farm in the 1950s. Michael Noctor, a native of Athy, Co. Kildare, moved down to the Coolkenno area to manage Munny Farm, under Peter and Christabel Bielenberg in 1947. He married local lady, Sally Timmins of Coolkenno and together they set up home with their family at the old Crablane street, where Sally still resides. May we remember Michael Noctor of the Crablane (1916-1970) RIP.
